Register for the Exam
The process of signing up to take the exam differs depending on whether you choose to attend the official training or self-study.
1. Training
If you choose to prepare for the exam by attending an official UKI Social Media Training Course through UKI or Authorized Training Partners (ATPs), the exam voucher will be included in your training package.
- Option A: For your convenience, you may have an option to sit for the exam on site, on the last day of the training. In this case, your instructor will provide you with all necessary information pertaining to the exam.
- Option B: You can elect to postpone the exam to a future date. Your instructor or ATP course administrator will provide you with the necessary voucher and exam information. UKI Certification Exams are administered by Pearson VUE. The exam voucher is valid for a period of one year. Please see below for detailed exam voucher information.
Once you successfully complete the exam, you will need to fill out the
"Certification Application Form"

2. Self-Study - Challenging the Exam
If you choose to challenge the exam, you must purchase the Pearson VUE exam voucher from the UKI online store.
The exam will be administered by Pearson VUE. You will need to contact the Pearson
VUE test center of your choice to register for the exam. You can find the list of test center locations on the Pearson VUE website at:

Once you successfully complete the exam, you will need to fill out the "Certification Application Form" in order to become certified.

Exam Voucher Information
The exam voucher is valid for a period of one year from the date of purchase. Please note that the vouchers are non-transferrable, non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
Exam Retake Policy
Should you fail to achieve a passing score, you are eligible to retake the exam.
If you chose to challenge the exam, you are eligible to retake the exam (2nd attempt)
by purchasing a new exam voucher at full price. If you attended an official training course,
please contact your Authorized Training provider. There is no required waiting time between
the first exam attempt and the exam retake (2nd attempt). However, there is a waiting period of at least 14 days from the day of the last attempt,
before you can attempt the exam for the 3rd or any subsequent time.
The retake exam registration process is the same as initial exam registration.
However, you must obtain a new exam voucher and contact the Pearson VUE test center of your choice
to register for the retake exam. You can find the list of test center locations on the Pearson VUE website at: www.pearsonvue.com Pearson VUE offers a variety of scheduling options: online scheduling, scheduling by phone and scheduling directly through the test center.
